Learn how history can inspire creative stories! Join us to meet comic book author Brian Wood and practice your hand at drawing. Followed by book signing.

  • Hear New York Times best-selling author of Rebels (set during the Battle of Brooklyn) Brian Wood discuss how he uses history as inspiration for his stories.
  • Join teaching artists from Dare2Draw to practice drawing from life, including special Quick Draw challenges with superhero live-action models.
  • Meet and chat with Brian Wood after the program when he’ll sign books!

Brian Wood has worked in the comic book industry for more than 20 years and is the creator/co-creator and writer of numerous titles, including DMZ, The Massive, Channel Zero, Demo, Northlanders, Rebels, and Starve.
