A Taste of New-York History is a carefully curated collection of specialty foods by local independent producers available in the Museum Store. The choice selection exemplifies a farm-to-table ethos and contributes to the larger story of American History told at the New-York Historical Society.
The New-York Historical Society will launch this line of food products on Sunday, May 5 from 12 noon until 4 pm with an Artisan Marketplace, with vendors offering free samples, explaining their process, and describing the influence of history on food-making that is happening now in their New York kitchens and farms. Participating artisans include Anarchy in a Jar, Beekman 1802 Mercantile, Brooklyn Brine, Brooklyn Roasting Company, Empire Mayonnaise, Hot Bread Kitchen, Liddabit Sweets, Mast Brothers Chocolate, Morris Kitchen, The Redhead, Papabubble, Sfoglini Pasta, and The Good Batch.
