Search for Civil War clues on a scavenger hunt throughout the museum (Can you find the flag for New York's 39th Regiment? What about the soldier's uniform that still has dirt and grime from the last day of battle?). Available all day.
Take a family quiz to test your knowledge about the Civil War. And on special dates, meet reenactors from historic Civil War regiments with authentic uniforms, camp gear and artifacts. 2 pm, daily.
Civil War Living History Days with the First Long Island Volunteers. Stand at ease and come meet the soldiers of Company K of the 67th New York Volunteer Infantry. See military and camp gear up close, and ask these troops all about their uniforms, daily life, and their thoughts on the Civil War. Sunday, April 13, all day.
