Event details

The Colonial Army first met the British in today’s Prospect Park. Walk the battlefield with Cal Snyder and Lucy Oakley, starting at Battle Pass, then find Stanford White’s striking but little-known memorial to the Maryland 400; see Daniel Chester French’s surpassing tribute to Lafayette and the Old Stone House. Other sites of tribute will be seen, including the statue Angel of Death and Grand Army Plaza. Walking tours are limited to thirty-five guests per tour. Please buy tickets in advance.
