Meet the Fledglings with the Wild Bird Fund
Sunday, May 12, 2 pm

How do you feed a fledgling? Get some practice at this totally unique program co-produced by the DiMenna Children's History Museum and the Wild Bird Fund. This Mother’s Day, the Wild Bird Fund will come to the Museum to teach us all about our neighbors with nests. Participants will see a presentation about the bird life of New York City, learn about wild bird rehabilitation, and feed a baby bird in the WBF’s care.

This program has an age restriction for the safety of the birds that will be handled and fed. Children must be ages five and up to participate.

About the Wild Bird Fund

Each year, the non-profit Wild Bird Fund provides emergency care for over 1,000 wild birds and animals in New York City. Working with the Center for Avian and Exotic Medicine and two nearby veterinary hospitals, the WBF is the central resource in NYC for wildlife emergency care and rehabilitation.
