The "New York World-Telegram" and "Sun" newspaper, created in 1931 was international in scope, and provided extensive coverage of local interest matters such as New York politics, transportation, labor problems, housing, cultural developments and celebrities. The newspaper ceased publication in 1966, leaving the legacy of its renowned photo-journalism collection.
