Ann Rapelje was the daughter of George and Dina (Middagh) Rapelje of Brooklyn Ferry. She was baptized into the Dutch Church on November 11, 1733, and was married to Gerardus Duyckinck in 1752. She was the mother of Gerardus III (b. 1754), Diana (b. 1759), and Johanna (b. 1760).
