Elizabeth De Peyster, the daughter of Abraham B. De Peyster and Catharine (Bancker) De Peyster, was born and raised in New York. She married Henry Remsen on August 13, 1808. This miniature portrait of her was a gift to the Society from her great-great-grandson.
Due to ongoing research, information about this object is subject to change.
