This lapel button features Outcault's Yellow Kid, the first comic strip, with a Christmas stocking; his gown reads "I Had To Borrer Dat Sock From Liz" and a sign reads "Deer Santie Klaws/ If Its Too Big Put It On De Floor". On the reverse it advertises "High Admiral Cigarettes/ Riley-Klotz M'f'g. Co./ Newark, N.J." and lists patent dates of 1894 and 1896. Small blue number 16 indicates a series.
