Khaki-colored cotton summer service uniform trousers; 7 buttons fly; 5 belt loops around waistband; horizontal slit watch pocket beneath waistband, vertical slit pockets at the side seams, 2 horizontal slit rear pockets, left rear pocket buttons closed; waistband and pockets lined with ecru-colored cotton.

These trousers are part of a summer service uniform worn by Paul H. Downing during World War II. Downing served as Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Corps, as commanding officer of the Rochester (New York) Materiel Command.
