Stephen Starr’s Italian Restaurant in the New-York Historical Society Museum Offering Summer Wine Tastings with New York Wine Makers

- This summer, Caffè Storico, a Stephen Starr restaurant located in the New York-Historical Society, will host a series of Saturday wine tastings featuring vineyards from the state of New York. The tasting events are part of the New-York Historical Society’s ‘Taste of New-York’ series and will highlight New York wine makers as they discuss their wine-making process as well as the history of their vineyard.

Beginning Saturday, June 22, the summer tastings will take place each Saturday at 5:00 p.m., with a break on July 6 for the July 4th holiday. The full line-up includes:

· June 22: Dr. Frank's Vinifera Wine Cellars

· June 29: Shinn Estate Vineyards

· July 13: Brooklyn Oenology Winery

· July 20: Raphael Vineyard & Winery

· July 27: Bedell Cellars

· August 3: Palmer Vineyards

· August 10: Macari Vineyard

· August 17: Red Tail Ridge Winery

· August 24: Brotherhood Winery

· August 31: Cereghino Smith

The wine tastings will be ticketed at the price of $22 or $20 for New-York Historical Society members. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or by calling (212) 485-9268. Caffè Storico is located in the New-York Historical Society Museum at 170 Central Park West. Guests must be 21 or older to enjoy the tastings.
