Katharine Graham was one of the most powerful women in 20th-century America. Best known for her role in publishing the Pentagon Papers and the Watergate investigation as president and publisher of the Washington Post, Graham was also the first woman CEO of a Fortune 500 company, a Pulitzer Prize-winning memoirist, and a one-time guest of honor at Truman Capote's legendary Black and White Ball. Get a sneak peek at our upcoming exhibition on Graham with Center for Women's History scholar Jeanne Gutierrez.
