Celebrate the Center for Women’s History at the New-York Historical Society! The NYHistory Store presents our popular fall Designing Women Market, a day-long marketplace to showcase exceptional products by women makers, designers, and entrepreneurs. Attendees will be able to meet, chat, and shop for unique gifts with the women who make them.

This special marketplace will feature outstanding makers whose products exemplify the creative spirit of New York City, a long tradition that includes such pioneers as Madam C. J. Walker, Clara Driscoll, and Estée Lauder. The participants are renowned for their success and the quality of the products they bring, a unique range that includes jewelry, clothing, accessories, art, and crafts.

The Designing Women Market is free to the public. Market visitors should check in at the DWM registration table near the N-YHS main entrance. Guests will be issued a badge giving them access to the market in the Smith Gallery on the 1st floor. If market visitors wish to visit the galleries they will need to purchase tickets. Two for 1 admission will be offered to guests who spend $25 at the market.
