EVENT DETAILS

Presented LIVE on Zoom

President Joe Biden has had a long career in politics, fraught with successes, failures, and tragedies, all leading to his ascension to the highest office in the United States. Using interviews with Biden himself, his family, and colleagues including Barack Obama, Cory Booker, and Amy Klobuchar, Evan Osnos illuminates Biden’s time in the Senate, his eight years as vice president, the 2016 presidential primary, and ultimately his successful bid for president in 2020.

Evan Osnos is a staff writer for the New Yorker and the author of Joe Biden: The Life, the Run, and What Matters Now. Douglas Brinkley (moderator) is a bestselling author and serves as presidential historian for CNN and the New-York Historical Society.
