Storytelling
Little New-Yorkers @ Home
Tuesday, March 9 and Friday, March 12 | 3:30 pm ET

Free; ages 3-6

Join us via Zoom every Tuesday and Friday for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, silly dances and songs, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. This March, celebrate Women’s History Month. Not too long ago, women could only wear dresses! Read Mary Wears What She Wants, written and illustrated by Keith Negley.  Find out about Mary Edwards, a doctor in New York who didn’t care for dresses at all. Born in 1832, Mary didn’t understand why she couldn’t wear clothes that made her comfortable as a child. Following storytime, create some new clothes for Mary to wear besides a dress at home!
