Little New-Yorkers @ Home: 'Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story'
Tuesday, November 16 at 3:30 pm ET

Free; ages 3-6

Join us via Zoom every Tuesday for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, silly dances and songs, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. This week, learn about Indigenous peoples with Kevin Noble Maillard’s Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story, illustrated by Juana Martinez-Neal.

As a modern Native American family works together to make their favorite food, this vibrant book tells a story of community, history, culture, and tradition. After we read, make your own fry bread puzzle, with each piece a special ingredient from the story!
