PoeticJustice: A Performance
Fri, August 21st, 2015 | 7:00 pm

In celebration of our critically acclaimed exhibition Art as Activism, New-York Historical Society presents a FREE evening of poetry and spoken word by artists dedicated to activism. A platform for poets to continue the American legacy of voicing social concerns through art, #PoeticJustice: A Performance will feature works from three generations of New York artists. Presented in partnership with the Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College, CUNY, the program is curated by AKILA WORKSONGS. Follow the performance on Twitter: #PoeticJustice
