Join us every Sunday in person for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special hello song, silly dances and games, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. As Hannukah comes to a close, read Hershel and the Hannukah Goblins, by Eric A. Kimmel, with illustrations by Trina Schart Hyman.

In this story, the traditional Jewish folk hero Hershel of Ostropol arrives in a small village on the first night of Hannukah and discovers that a group of goblins have taken over the synagogue and forbidden the villagers from celebrating. Hershel is determined to outwit the goblins and save Hannukah! Come find out if he succeeds, and following the story, make your own Hannukah dreidel!

Please note that this is not a drop-off program—child participants must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place in person. Capacity limits, vaccination proof plus matching ID (for those ages 12 and up), and mask requirements apply. Please find all our safety information here.
